Chris is a good communicator. He\'s careful about his words and he\'s deliberate.

Chris is a friend, and the real deal. He studied elk vocalizations for a research job. There are people who claim to be \"experts\" with elk vocalization, and then there are a few like Chris.

If you can find it, his self-filmed bowhunt for a giant muley above timberline is an absolute classic. Just the parts where he sets up the camera to film himself hunting is worth the time to watch, never mind the process and the outcome.

Listening to Chris talk has given me better understand of elk communication.

Can\'t say I support his choice of bugle though. Sorry, I\'m prejudice against a certain brand of bugle.

He\'s the best I\'ve seen, heard, or read and a major contributor to my success with elk calling.

I have heard him speak twice at seminars. The last one was at COS Sportmans Warehouse last summer.

He usually does one each year at the January Denver Sportmans Show. It is worth the time to go to one of his talks.

I really appreciate how he acted after he killed it.

Nothing drives me more nuts than a guy who talks about how he just \"SMOKED THEM\" or some other stupid catch phase.



He\'s probably killed more elk than a lot of us added up and his reaction was still genuine and VERY HAPPY. :upthumb:

Good stuff! Always like his videos. I really liked his instructional calling videos too.
