How much weight does an American made product carry when you are buying gear?

If i have the choice i always go with the American made stuff. Usually the quality offsets any price difference IMO

If I can find a quality American made product that fits my needs I will choose it over a product overseas that fits that need.

Kifaru's backpacks, shelters, sleeping bag, stoves, etc are 100% made in America.  The majority of Mystery Ranch backpacks are made in America. Bowtech, Savage, Beyond Clothing are a couple others made in America.

I'm with Rich Z, but in the end, I want to pay for quality.  I'm willing to pay more for American if quality is equal, but will choose foreign if the quality is better.

It is very important to me.


That is why I make all of my Calls here in the USA and even went as far to confirm that only American materials go into them.  The only piece on my calls that isn't is the green band which is from the Philippines.

A lot.  I like to keep business here and usually american made products are much better anyway and many have a lifetime warranty
