Anyone Fall turkey hunting?

I was just out looking for some birds since I\'ve filled both my deer tags but didn\'t see any. I\'m going to check some fields again in a little while.

Amazing, last year I was covered in Turkeys and wasn\'t carrying a tag. This year I purchase a tag and never saw one turkey all year so far. Plenty on trail cameras, and heard them one morning close but that\'s it.

I\'ve got permission to hunt a private farm that usually has a bunch of birds on it in the late season. I may go chase them one afternoon. I haven\'t chased fall birds in years. They aren\'t a big challenge with a shotgun in the fall and I\'ve always hated wasting arrows on them. I\'ve had a decent deer season so I may let an arrow fly since I\'ll probably buy some before next bow season.
