Ok, take a look at this photo. Are those elk I circled?

Funny thing is my spike camp is going to be set up within a few hundred yards of this spot.

Does an ES CO Archery Elk tag include stump elk?

Based on the shadows I think this was still pretty early in the AM. And I seem to recall that this particular set of photos was taken in Sept. of either 2012 or 2013. There are a couple of wall tents setup up the valley.

Can\'t tell what direction they are going, but there is a step north facing slope about 1/2 mile to the south. It is on my to check list for this weekend.
