Are you shooting?

I bowhunt, so no I would wait for him to take couple steps forward, this shoot would get hardly get any penetration, so wait and be patient.

Rifle and muzzle are confident shots

Archery is a no go. It can be frustrating passing up an opportunity at a good range, its mental self-inflicted torture to take a risky/irresponsible shot and have to helplessly track a wounded animal or not recover them.

Especially in this moment of trying to make a shot angle work, its tough to remember that not taking a shot is always an option.

never shot a muzzleloader in my life..i'd probably still be messing around with pellets primer or sabot..so no.

arrow..full draw, i'd like to see him move a leg forward or turn away a tiny bit.

rifle..i would be high fiving myself already..texting people.

I don't like the angle, even for a rifle. It seems he's calm enough, I would wait a few moments to see if he would turn more broadside or even angling away a little. All he needs to do is take a step and it would be over.

I've never shot a muzzleloader, so I'm not sure, but would probably do the same - wait for him to take a step to present a better angel.

With a bow, I would definitely wait for a more broadside shot.
