D DTP Administrator Jun 13, 2017 1,786 Apr 8, 2019 #3 I found there to be an advantage over longer verse shorter. My first bow was too short for my long DL. My bow was 28? ATA and my DL was .29.5?. The angles I created were too sharp and the bow was not forgiving. Now I shoot a 34? ATA and it?s amazing how much my shooting has cleaned up and how much more forgiving it is.
