Bachelor bull groups?

I was scouting last weekend and saw several bachelor bull groups of 3-7 bulls.  None of the groups had any really big bulls in them and I wondered if the bigger bulls tend to not join the smaller bachelor bull groups?  I know there are some 350+ bulls in the area and I saw probably 8-10 different groups with the biggest ones maybe around 320 class.  So any experience on whether the big ones stay to themselves prior to the rut kicking in?

the big bulls are more likely to stay by them self's pre rut or hang with another big bull , they don't seem to like the day care crowd. and if your seeing that many bulls your in a pretty damn good area no reason to leave.

Kinda thought so Turbo as I have it on good advise that there are some big ones around so no thoughts of going too far away!

Maybe the herd bulls are already in the process of rounding their herum. I seen a 350+ class bull last weekend with 20 cows already. Seems a bit early, but...
