I was at Academy yesterday, and ran across this backpack:

<!-- m --><a class=\"postlink\" href=\"http://www.rockymountaintrail.com/detail.aspx?pid=113045&&ocid=673255&coid=444285&utm_medium=DataFeed&utm_source=googlepla&utm_content=KeltyRedwing_44_BackpackCaper-CP&gclid=CjwKEAiAtf6zBRDS0oCLrL37gFUSJACr2JYbpBDxeAbswP8eOWsogbjNQc6lJMd7cxnMOvFNvQGj8xoCf_zw_wcB\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href);return false;\">http://www.rockymountaintrail.com/detai ... oCf_zw_wcB</a><!-- m -->

its not a \"hunting\" pack, but it looks really nice. I really liked the way it was laid out, in terms of pockets, features, etc, and everything I\'ve ever owned that said \"Kelty\" on it was built very well. Very lightweight, and had all the stuff I want, but none of the stuff packs often include I just dont need.

My only concern is exterior material. it\'s that nylon/polyester-scratchy sounding stuff (bound to be more appropriate industry term.....).

My question is this: how big a deal is it for the pack exterior to be made of \"quiet by design\" material?

Merry Christmas to all of yall, BTW. :)

Looks like a good pack at a great price. The only thing I see that I don\'t especially care for is if the side pouches are loaded, you won\'t be able to use the water bottle pockets for that purpose. Or, if you are able to put a water bottle in it, it might not be accessable without taking the pack off. But, you could still place smaller items in there. I wouldn\'t worry too awful much about the material unless you plan on crossing a lot of barbed wire fences, LOL!
