Tomorrow i will be headed out with my 8 year old step son to do some scouting.  It will be his first time introduced to hunting. He is very excited to spend time in the woods.  I know i will not be able to get all the scouting i want in but just having my son with me makes it that much better. I hope we are able to see some elk this week but if not thats alright. Its all about introducing the new generation into hunting and the proper ethics and respect for the outdoors.

well it turned out to be a great trip. Saw a couple big bulls a couple miles back in.  Also found an area where four well used trails come together and cross a creek.  Set my trail camera there, hopefully ill see something good.
