I was using my Buck folding knife this year on my elk and broke a piece of the blade about the size of half of a nickle. Perfect little half circle on the blades edge. Packaged it up and mailed it to Buck knives and they sent me a brand new knife just like I had, free of charge. It is great when a company does what they say they will do and gives you no grief...... :D
Anyone else had good expierences with businesses and gear?

I had bought a pair of Nikon Monarch binos off from ebay, had them about a year and the eye piece came loose. Sent it to Nikon for repairs and told them that I had bought them used. They sent me a new Monarch 5 at no charge. could not believe it when they came.

Buck sounds like a great company, most of their knifes are American made, and they have great customer service.
I have been looking at some of their paklite knives. Lightweight backpacking knife.

Had a stitch in my Sitka Mountain Pants go out.  Spoke with customer service and they sent me a new pair and paid over night shipping which allowed me to get right back to hunting a day later.  Another reason I'm beyond thrilled with their company!

What is the best brand for a buck knive? Wanted to get one for my dad .

The Buck Alpha Hunter is a great design, with very good steel, and with the Rosewood handles really looks sharp.
