Just wondering what kind of bugles everyone prefers. Also there is a two tubed bugle that sounded awesome I can't remember the name of. Anyone know which one I might be taking about? Thanks.
Right now i use a Sceery bad attitude bugle. Super easy to use but have been practicing with mouth calls a lot. Hopefully be ready to switch over by next year.
I use Primos Terminator. I've had it a long time. Will Primos personally sent it to me. Cow calling produces the best action for me once the elk are located, along with some "weakling" sounding bull squeals - like maybe a satelite bull has ran off with one of the herd bull's lady friends. When the time is right, seems like any call will work and how you call is more important than what you use.
Nice bull! Thank you my brothers for your input. I've used the terminator for a long time. I'm looking for something a bit more like the bully bull I'm thinking. Good luck to everyone this year and thanks again.
Bully Bull has been working for me for a number of years. Before that i used the primos pack bugle and it was nice because it was small and lightweight but just didn't produce the sound I like.
Bully bull tube with Steve chappell estrus cow call. Or the raging bull diaphragm. Both sound awesome. My advice is make bugles short. If you listen to real elk on you tube they don't carry a bugle very long. The more realistic the better you will be.
