calling from a treestand

Has anyone had success calling from a treestand. I have had elk come to calls along game trails and fence lines. If you try this don't call when sitting a stand on water.

He was licking my tree steps along with looking hard for that cow. Great hunt.

Ive had some great success Calling from a tree stand!

I like to set up my stand below there bedding areas and and make a series of Cow calls every thirty minutes are so, seems it really gets the cows curious and they come in to investigate and some times a Bull follows them.

never hunted from a stand, but had some guys in our area calling up a storm from their stands...um we avoided that area that year, wind blowing every which way blowing their scent everywhere too.

My brother hunts this way and swears by it.  He's had several bulls within range but hasn't connected with his arrow yet.  I'm putting a stand over a notorious wallow this year just in case I get the motivation to climb up in the tree or the wallow is getting pounded like the past couple years.  Awesome pictures!  did you get that bull on the ground?
