Got a lid cam for Christmas and must say it is pretty cool and can't wait to use it this season.  Does anyone have any helpful hints while using one of these small cameras to capture the thrill of the hunt?  Thanks,  WardDawg 7

One tip, when you are shooting your bow, turn the camera slightly to the left on your head. You are turned slightly sideways while shooting and if the cam is pointing straight, you will more than likely miss the elk/deer

Best advice anyone could have ever given you. Nothing like getting home, excited to show your video only to find out you got everything in frame except the shot and your bull on film. I've been guilty of that with my POV camera........... ugh

+1 for turning a little off center, buddy shot a bear on film, well he got everything but the shot the string lined up just right with the lens so that's all that showed till he moved his arm after the shot.  The other thing is with the mini's they have to be real close.  From watching several elk shots it looks like they have to be within 15-20 yards to be able to tell if it has horns.
