Checking elk trail cams tomorrow!

Heading up today to spend a couple days camping/fishing with my son.
We will be setting 2 more tree stands, checking cameras [moving one], fishing brookies, and shooting gophers [bringing 600rds of .22]

Fun will be had!

What is everyone else doing for the holiday weekend?

Sounds like a great time Brad! We\'ll be spending the weekend in town, but I think I\'ll be dropping some trail cams in our unit on Tuesday! Looking forward to being up there, even if it\'ll only be for a few hours.

Jealous. I can\'t go back for another 2 weeks.

My weekend is booked with mostly house projects. A couple of hikes thrown in and 3D shooting.

Ending the weekend by watching the Women\'s World Cup Final Sunday at 5 pm MT

You will be having more fun than me Brad.

I am leaving work at noon today to work on siding and soffit on my Mother-in-laws house till dark. Tomorrow will be all day shoveling sand and framing up the footings on my Dads house. Saturday the 4th I will be working on siding again. Sunday if it doesn\'t rain I will pour the footings by mixing half of a yard of cement the old fashion way :train: .

Best wishes to you and your son Brad. Olympushunt, a friend or two, and I will be heading out next week to do some serious scouting too. We will have a gaggle of trail cameras to set out. We will be looking at some old haunts and some new places too.

Taking the wife to the cabin to set cameras and lay low. I live in a tourist town. Already getting busy so it looks like a good weekend to get out of dodge. Cut a little firewood, go to a nice place to eat, morning coffee by the campfire. Kids are gone for the week out to Estes Park, so it\'ll just be the two of us. :upthumb:

the kids at church camp? we had a group of kids from our church leave sunday for estes park.

Just checked trail cam 1.
I was disappointed when I saw 600 pics because I knew the wind or some motion got me!
I make a mistake of using a smaller tree that moved when the wind blew

But after reviewing them I did get a few of elk and deer.
Will post them when I get back home.

Wow, made it back home and what a fun filled time we had!

Always nice to have a strapping young lad to hang tree stands, and cut limbs!
