Thought I’d toss out a question here on Elk101 about deer hunting. I am looking to burn my 14 nr deer points this year in CO. Point creep has killed me the last couple of years and I really want to stop the game here and just get a good hunt. Looking strongly at unit 66 3rd season. Waiting until winter is done to talk to DOW biologist. I would love to talk to anyone living down there or familiar with that Gunnison Basin herd. Very willing to swap info on ID deer/elk or any areas I may be helpful with. Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone in the draws.
