Good Morning All,
When you buy an OTC tag in Colorado, do you have to declare a unit number? If so, are you locked into that unit or can you go to different units? If so, is that how it works in most states?
Thanks is advance!

You do not have to specify a unit when applying for a preference point. When you decide to try to burn your points, you will then specify a unit when you apply. Until then you can buy over the counter tags and continue to build points while you learn what you are doing. That is Colorado, other states can be completely different depending on the state.
