Colorado unit 68

Anyone ever hunted unit 68?  The unit (81)that we previously went to is going to a draw unit and looking at 68 as a new spot. Anyone familiar with it?

As a side note, you still might be able to hunt 81 if it goes to a draw, which it sounds like it will. Just have to see how many tags they allot. Similar thing happened a few years back when a bunch of other units went to draw after being OTC units.

I agree with Cohunter, you should still be able to draw that unit and probably as a 2nd choice. Most people won't know it went to a draw until it's too late. We did that with 45 last year.
That they're moving it to a draw seems to point to it being an overhunted unit. Did you have much success with it?

Define success lol.  We hunted it in 2020 and a buddy hunted it again in 21. Both years saw elk and I had a shot at one in 2020 but missed.  Just familiar with the area we were and not necessarily wanting to figure out another.  but will if we have to.
