Colorado zones 214, 441 and 4

Hi,

I'm going to Colorado elk hunting in October. I was wondering if anyone has hunted zones 441, 214 or 4? Can you tell me what the terrain is like?

I’ve hunted parts of those areas over the years. They can vary a lot. It depends on the elevation.

Unit 4 has rolling country and rough cedar breaks.

Units 214 and 441 can get steep. They have timber in some spots.

You will have elevation changes. You need to cover a lot of ground.

Good boots and being, in shape will help.

October weather can change fast. So wear layers.
