Compound-to-traditional switch

If you like shooting traditional and are willing to put the practice into it, it\'s worth the switch!
--Ditto on the draw weight. Don\'t overbow yourself at the beginning.
--Ditto on starting with the Samick Sage. It\'s an inexpensive but good bow, and you can start with a low draw weight and switch out the limbs as your draw weight increases.
--If you can, try various tabs and gloves to find the perfect fit for you.

If you can ever get to RMS Gear in Arvada, CO (a western suburb of Denver), it\'s well worth the trip. They specialize in tradbows, and have hundreds in stock (including lefties), as well as arrows, tabs, and other traditional equipment. They are extremely helpful about every aspect of traditional shooting...form, arrow spine and weight, etc. Check \'em out online at https://www.rmsgear.com/. When I bought my Sage from them, they had a program: once you\'re ready to upgrade your limbs, you could trade the whole bow for a higher DW Sage for a mere $25 or $50, providing you kept the bow in good condition. A steal! Not sure if they still do that, but you can ask.

Its very rewarding, once you pick up on the instinctive shooting, your brain and body are amazing and will be programmed to shot where you are looking without thinking about it, based on repetition from various distances by how your bow shoots much like throwing a ball.
