14-17days....any more and the wifey would prolly shoot me.

Elkaholic I am in the same sinking boat.  Lol I usually have enough vacation/sick leave set aside for 1-2 weeks of hunting but anymore than that and my will castrate me!

20+ during archery season. Depends on who hasn't filled their elk tag yet and wants company and help packing

During September I take one 9 day stretch and then 3 day weekends the other times. The I just hunt on the weekends until I fill all my tags.

One full week plus weekends if we do not harvest.  My partner got married on September 18th can you believe that?  He was not an archer then and trust me he gets to hear about it every year.

I took 8 days off of work last year which came to 8 days of hunting 2 days for driving, 1 day for recovery and acclimation in the mountains.

I set aside two weeks of pto every year for archery elk. I usually take it the last two weeks of September and go out every weekend before that.

I usually have 5 to 7 days set aside for hunting with my brothers and if I don't fill my tag will hunt when I can.

When I was in college during a 2 week rifle season I would hunt 7-8 days, usually in one or two day stretches.

Now that I have to keep a job I will probably be able to get 5-6 days of hunting in a two week season, more if I take some vacation days.

From mid August until mid January. I typically work 8-12 days a month. The rest is spent hunting/scouting.

I try to have about 20 days a year. I take a full week off for archery hunting elk, then I'm a weekend warrior if I didn't get anything. Then I take about a week off for Thanksgiving for deer hunting.

Really depends on how my situation is.....working, children, and spouse are part of realities so I try to pen at least my weekends in for hunts but love to get out in middle of the week...so much less pressure.

At least 7 days in a row for archery elk preferably 10  but all together probably 25-35 days from august to november. I would probably have more but the wife always wants me to waste my pto for vacations. Can you believe that!! ;) ;)

i need to get a job that allows for more time off.  i save my vacation all year just to burn all two weeks between archery and rifle season.  I only take 3 days off for rifle, and then i do opening and closing week archery hunts.  my vacation is supposed to go up another week next year, so that should allow me to get some more time in the woods.
