i didnt draw my first choice, extremely bummed as mulies were on the top of my list.
i made a mistake in my second choice while applying but thought i corrected it, but i was messin in the cpw site an it still has my second choice for unit 20 which is what i thought i had changed. so i dont know if i drew a unit 20 deer tag, an if i did i dont know anything about the unit.
of course my moose pp was updated, which wont do me any good if we end up moving to nebraska.
so far not a goodmorning for me.
looks like my son got pp to, so not looking good for our hunting season so far.

You still have some deer options.
As far as moose, NR have a better chance of getting tags than Res do.
If fact this year, NR moose tags were increased in some units.

I had 7 Deer PP and now have zero.
My son had 4 PP and he also has zero.

thanks cnelk, we will have to talk about that. i should get my second choice but its in a unit we talked about that you didnt like. i coulda swore i changed it but evidently i didnt do it correctly. as far as moose the problem is when i apply for the tag for me an my son as a nr its over 4000. yea thats refunded but gotta have a way to pay for it up front an i refuse to have a cc with that much credit on it. but may have to change my views.
so heres my next question. if a unit says it takes 1 point to draw, does that mean everybody with 2 points will draw that unit, an a few with 1. i will have 2 pts next year in a unit that says takes 1 to draw.

Yes. If a unit says it takes 1 PP to draw, that would be the minimum.
People with 2 PP would def draw.

If a unit says it takes 0 PP to draw, thats where it gets tricky, as its based on hunter application & tag allotment.
SOME with 0 can draw and anyone with 1 PP WILL draw

20 had left overs last year, so i should be good there. gotta figure out to alot my time to hunt mulies which i really want, yet still get some elk an bear in. should be good to go next year, hope im not buying nr tags

I had about a 60% chance of getting a muley buck tag. I never win with odds like that, but I tried. Now I have a point for next year which is all I needed to get the tag this year.

I still have the OTC whitetail tag I can buy for the Nov season in my unit. I know where a whitetail buck hangs out that time of year.

I long for the old days when I could always hunt for bulls and bucks every year. The internet has changed hunting. Good days are gone forever.

My second choice was an ES Archery tag for a unit that traditionally has leftover tags. It won\'t break my heart if I don\'t get it.

I\'m not a big deer hunter. I\'ll eventually burn them on a Rifle hunt somewhere.

And I predict that I\'ll have on Elk point after the draw also. They\'ll send me an OTC ES Elk tag.

I do basically the same thing every year. Eventually I\'ll burn my elk points on another RFW elk hunt.
