I had a forkie at less than 10 yards today but decided to hold off. It almost worked out too as a solid 4x4 came in to 70 yards, but ended up bedding there and never got closer.

Well, my trigger finger got a bit itchy yesterday and I decided to punch my tag. I had a long time to fill it, but with a decent buck 15 yards from my blind I couldn?t hold off on taking my first big game animal with a bow. Maybe next year I?ll be able to hold out for something bigger...maybe.  :haha: 


Sorry for the surgical gloves in the pic. I tried to take some selfies prior to doing the butchering, but this pic my dad got after I started the process turned out better  :upthumb:

Exactly! I honestly don't know if I would have found the arrow without it. Amazing how much that helps. I owe you on that one!
