DIY Tyvek Tent

The weather was a bit crappy this morning so I did a small DIY project inside until the sun came out


I started with some leftover Tyvek I had - a 3ft wide roll, some good 3M Duct tape, and a grommet kit

I taped pieces together - both sides

And another one

I cut my pattern out, re-enforced the grommets locations and installed them

Ties some para cord thru the grommets and used some light weight alum stakes, along with my trekking pole for the upright

Not a lot of room, but enough

Still need to finish a couple modifications on the flaps, but its pretty much ready to use.

Test run tonight under the stars?

Better yet, test it out in your yard with the sprinkler system on!

No need to sleep in it. Tomorrow is supposed to have 30mph winds. Thats the next test
