Elk101.com's Film, WYOMING, is live!

Thing that is so moving about this film is that it's real.  You can feel the pain as Dirk is talking.  The emotion really comes through.  I didn't think Cory and Dirk were capable of making mistakes but this film certainly shares the good, bad, and the ugly... The icing on the cake at least for me is that you guys share this with the world free of charge and for thatI really thank you guys.

One of the things I admire about both of you guys is your humility and humbleness. In a day and age where it seems everyone is trying to bash this or that.  Beating their chest about how many miles they ran or how much weight they lifted. Or what pro staff the now apart of you.  You guys simply do what needs to be done and you go about it in such a way that draws people together rather then divide them... For that Corey and Dirk I say thank you.

Very well done. My son missed 2 elk this year, and has been down on himself every since. It was refreshing for him to see that it happens to others as well. Thanks for showing the reality of hunting. Other than his Dad telling him that it happens...

Very nicely done and very "REAL' in all aspects, especially the part about the end of your hunt staying with you for 11 months! SO GLAD THAT IS TRUE! THANKS GREG

Great video!  I wish it was longer!

One question I had was when they were crossing that stream did they still have their boots on??? Would have made or a long day with wet boots.

Awesome as usual, counting down the days, Makes me feel better knowing that after 36 years of bow hunting I'm not the only one making those small but game changing mistakes.

Awesome film Corey and Dirk. Can't wait for elk season and hang in there Dirk that elk will be waiting for you next year and he will be bigger. Thanks guys for another great film

Great film guys, thanks for sharing. Feel good knowing you guys don't walk on water. Still Licking my wounds from a September of 3 limbs hit, and 3 bulls missed, before cashing in the last wkd of archery season. Of course, I got the small one. Thanks for everything you guys do. Real hunting.

Incredible video! Great job capturing the range of emotions that you can experience while you're elk hunting with a bow, felt very real which I appreciate. My only complaint is I wish this video was longer lol, probably watched five or six times!

Wow, that was awesome! Only problem, it got me so pumped and I have to wait 8 months before going again. Great shot and composure! Love the footage to be able to see the elk drop in the background. Thanks for putting it together. Look forward to the next one!

Simply awesome video...  The ups, downs, and the possibility that a season can turn from a disaster to a success in seconds are what make September so special.  Loved the last line.  It truly does stay with you.

As the others have said, the video is awe inspiring. Very well done. My question is about the shot anatomy. I know the camera and shooter angles are different and I couldn't really tell exactly where you shot. The fact that the elk goes down within sight is a testament to the effectiveness of a good broadhead and shot placement.

I thought my shot was a good one this past fall but it didn't turn out well. I know the bull died from it but we were not able to locate him. Followed an 'off and on' blood trail 2 days for over a mile before it completely played out. Heart wrenching!

Your quote at the end of the video is so so true. That elk hunt never has left me. I replay it over in my head every single day.

Awesome Video.. Normally avoid elk hunting videos this time of year but had to check it out.  No worries only seven more months of researching, dreaming, shooting, training, practicing calling, day dreaming, RMEF mags., hiding new purchases from the wife (so she doesn't want one as well), O yeah and anticipation of chasing bugling bulls
