I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the article, "Hard Lessons from the Backcountry". There is a sentence that I think sums it all up, "The biggest lesson Ive learned though, is the days spent afield should be enjoyed no matter the outcome."
I agree! I look forward to Josh's articles in each issue....his next one is on Hunting Elk in Bear Country, and there's more good elk hunting advice given in it as well!
the work starts when the animal drops, untill then its all play,I took a lot of pics of elk last season and passed on around 20 bulls , never did shot one and it was one of my best seasons ever.
