Shooting some Deep Six arrows this year and trying to decide on the Broadhead, I hear great things about both of these heads so just looking to see what you folks thought?
im sure they both work fine there are a bunch of great heads out there everyone has there favorite, i tend to look at the materials they are made of manufactures guarantee life time guarantee tells me they believe in there product to stand up to the challenge. not all but most heads now days fly like field points sometweaking maybe required but its archery there's always room for improvement. Exodus has a good name im not as familiar with Helix
Thanks Cowboy, It does seem like a popular topic right now. I guess in the very old days they used rocks tied to sticks so we probably over analyze these things.
I just want my arrow to go all the way through no matter how bad my shot might be, you know, plan for the worst and hope for the best.
That's why I have gone much heavier on my shaft and want a bone crushing broadhead to match.

i always pray for the pass through i shoot a heavy arrow too KE more the better but like you say plan for the worst i want a head that will do damage lol which one would you least like being shot into your body choose that one!
I've been in the same boat this year - switched to the Injection FMJ and been trying to figure out a broadhead. Grateful that Grim Reaper is making the Deep Six this year so I don't have to switch for my Utah or MT hunts, but Idaho I've been trying to figure out a fixed broadhead that will work with Deep Six. Slick Trick might be the one, gotta figure it out soon!!
I switched to the injexions last year and shot the exodus full blades. They did awesome for me. Seemed very durable and probably one of the sharpest heads out of the box Ive ever felt. Seemed to fly quiet and flew consistent. I had a 6.5'' group with them one day at 117 yds. Was just curious to see how they would fly that far. I was a long time shuttle t guy but when I switched arrows there wasnt much to choose from. Im not familiar with the helix so I cant say anything good or bad about it. I am confident in the exodus though and they will be in my quiver again this fall.
