First time elk hunter

You guys won\'t ban me if I post a link to Corey Jacobsen\'s seminar will ya????

Anyhow, hey Travis this is a good one for the first time elk hunter. It isn\'t everything a guy needs to know, and you\'ll learn more as your elk hunting time goes by. But what Corey describes on this video can really help to simplify things for the NewB in the timber.

Looks like my attachment didn\'t work. I\'ll give it another try.

I know my years are running out so I\'ve got to get out there and get some experience under my belt soon.

Thanks Steve.

You have two of the most important things you\'ll need for a successful hunt...a great attitude, and realistic expecations. I\'m really looking forward to hearing about your plans, and your adventures this Season.

OK here is the link to Corey\'s seminar. Gee! I\'m a computer dummy. Sorry about that and hope it works this time.

Loved that seminar. That\'s the kind of info I\'m looking for. Hope to apply some of that stuff soon. Thanks.

I think I was cheated out of my prime. I shoot a lh bow because I shattered my left elbow when I was 24(I\'m right handed). I just had my right knee replaced for the 2nd time in the past year (first one had some complications). I do feel incredibly blessed though. I have been on active duty for 20 years and still feel like I\'ll be able to hold my own in the mountains. Maybe because the good lord just made me so hard headed.
