We decided to forgo turkey hunting this year for a chance at some big trout. Heading up tomorrow to a reservoir that\'s boast 16-22 inch trout as the norm.

We got some late snow this year.

The crappy thing was we spotted some gobblers on the way up and nobody remembered to bring a shotgun! I said a few 4 letter words after that.

I\'m a newbie when it comes to turkey hunting so is it normal to see two Tom\'s together without hens this time of year?

John that is not uncommon at all to see groups of toms together. A lot of two year old birds will hang together and jakes do all so.
