Alright folks, time for another Free Gear Friday! Again, we will be giving away a package from Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls including a Bully Bull Extreme Bugle Tube with a coveted Sitka cover, a Temptress Cow Call, an All-Star Diaphragm, and a Contender Diaphragm.

To enter, tell us below what you need to do between now and your elk hunt to make sure you are ready to go. One entry per person and each person must have a minimum of 5 posts to be eligible to win. The contest will run until Sunday at 6:00pm MST.

Quick note: why is the Sitka cover so coveted? Well, it's because you cannot purchase a tube with that cover. The only way to get your hands on one of those bugle tubes is via an Elk101 promotion!

For those that are on Instagram, feel free to check out our giveaway over there as well, which only runs through today.

Good luck!

Round up last year's gear and pack it up. Restock wind checker, fire starter balls, batteries etc. Prepare/pack food. Might upgrade footwear. Camera hanging trip next weekend. Continue to run/lift/shoot every day.

Making a plan! Got ABC now but would like at least 5 different spots/areas to go during season if I?m not finding elk.

I need to shoot and call, mostly. I could benefit from some more weighed hill climbs too, but there is only so much time in a day!

Rescout my limited draw unit in New Mexico, hang my Montana trail cams, hike with weighted pack twice a week, run 3 times a week, shoot bow every day, and call a lot. That covers it

Calling practice. Complete the UEH course for 2nd time. Time on the reloading bench for another batch. Range practice time. 5k per day on the Eliptical with my day pack on my back. 15k hikes on local mountain trails.

Train, train and more training!  Working on cardio in the hot Texas sun as well as weight training.  Several trips to the range.  Call, call, and call some more.
