Free Gear Friday!!!

Almost healed up from rotator cuff injury so slide back into upper body workout and continue hiking and other workouts.

Get the bow dialed in completely.

Get gear list and plans finalized with the two newbies I'm bringing from MS.

That new tube would be great for calling their first bulls in.  :upthumb:

Get into Elk shape, lots of group therapy(with the bow) ;) , and a bunch more E scouting with the possibility of some boots on the ground scouting. Also some more practice with calling can never hurt!

Check cams and hang stand (doing tomorrow).

Try to get things accomplished at work... 21 days left until season opens!!!

Did I say shoot?

First and foremost, make it home to my family that I have been away from for 15 months. Spend a week at home setting up my bow and putting in a sting peep as well as packing all my stuff. The wife wants me to elk hunt since I missed out last year due to the Military. She is already cooking meals and freezing them for me, so I don'y have to worry about doing that.
Leaving the 22nd for my beloved home state to at least spend a week above treeline relaxing.  To me, I don't really care about killing anything, but rather just going to enjoy the mountains. :)

Keep training and shooting. Check trail cams to figure out where I?m hunting opening day.

1) continue to e-scout our new unit and make plans for real scouting.
2) buy a chimney for our wood burning stove which will go in our new and fancy seek outside tipi.
3) re-read UEH again.
4) continue to break in my new boots.

Fine tune broadhead and field points, keep exercising, choose which tree to sit in, little boy makes it hard to spot and stalk together now, so tree stand it is :0)
