Just read from a reputable source that the Mathews No Cam is apparently illegal in Colorado with the 85% let-off.
Unless you have it modified, its a big NO-NO.
The wardens have handed out some tickets and the bow can get confiscated.

I wonder how much money Mathews will spend in lobbying CPW to change the max let-off reg.

I thought the no cam could be changed from 65, 75, or 85%?? So my guess (if this is true) is that it is up to the hunter to make sure he or she has the proper let-off set on the bow.

more gov stupidity. shocking. i dont own or shoot a mathews but thanks for the heads up.

One step forward, two steps back.

You can shoot your $29 nocturnals now, but can\'t shoot your $1100 bow. SORRY.

get as high as ya want on pot, just dont be carryin a no cam while your doin it

Looks like they have different modules for that bow they come in three sizes. So if one hunts CO they have to make sure they don\'t have the 85% mod installed.

Don has nailed it!!! This is a very misleading thread in that it ( gives the impression ) that this bow is entirely illegal. When in fact it is the hunters responsibility to know the law and select the proper let off that is available from the manufacturer.

I just looked at the Mathews website and it states that the bow is in fact, available in 65%, 75%, and 85% let off.

i find this hard to believe.

the warden would need a bow scale..right? it\'s like giving the guy a ferrari a speeding ticket because the car CAN go fast.

how is that bow selling? anyone know? they have commercials for that thing on all the shows.
