Good news and bad news

Well I just got some good news and bad news about archery season for elk.....it appears that I won't get to chase bugling elk during the rut this year........because I did draw a limited entry muzzleloader hunt that has 60% harvest statistics and out of those elk killed 35% were 6 point or bigger! Haha my buddy has been trying for this tag for 5 years and this year we put in together and drew out.

I guess I will be deer hunting all archery season and waiting for the muzzleloader hunt.

Will you be hunting in general deer areas or do you have a drawn deer tag too?

It will be a general deer tag. I didn't draw out for deer this year, but hopefully next year I will!. Yeah I'm jacked for the hunt. Should be a fun time, I'm hunting with by best friend from childhood, we hunted every year from the age of 12-26 together all season long. And this will be the first time hunting together in about 5 years. Should be a blast.
