With a camp full of hunters, and everyone has the quest to shoot Godzilla. One might not pass up on a gift from above. I Was the secondary shooter while the primary was not doing so well. The herd was long gone,and this young fellow decided to impale himself at 12 yrds. Couldn't resist The Hootchie...

I have a buddy who will only shoot 6 points. So everytime we go out I have a very good chance of shooting a bull because I will shoot any bull to help feed my family.

For me it kinda comes down to how far back in the country I am.  I'm more than  willing to shoot a little guy close to the camp but if I'm a couple miles back and the little guys get in the way I'm more willing to take a pass.  Of course it comes down to getting meat on the ground before the season is over and my passed opportunities haunt me this year because my freezer is currently elk free and could easily have been filled with cows this year.
