Hog hunt

Jan-March are the best times to go as the leaves are all off. But, these dates fill up fast. I\'d love to go but realistically it might cut into my other hunts for 2016 so probably not gonna be able to make it this winter. If folks wanted to book for next Jan or Feb I\'d be game.

I\'ve hunted with All About U. It was good fun and we all killed our 2 pigs. I\'d go with them or Shiloh. Shiloh is $350 for 2 days of huntn, 1 pig. All About U is $500 for 2 days/2 pigs. Both include meals and lodging.

I\'ve heard a lot of good stuff about Shiloh

I\'ve also hunted with James at All About U in Pauls Valley, OK. Never hunted with Shiloh but these 2 operations are quite a bit different in what they offer as well as price so my suggestion is to hit both web sites and compare.

Ex: Shiloh I believe is 400 acres of low fence(hog wire) whereas AAU leases free ranging property and hunt on fields as well as over feeders. AAU also has a 100 acre high fence area stocked with hogs. Before denouncing a 100 acre \"pen\", I can attest it\'s some nasty 100 acres! Briars, thorns, poison ivy, ticks, chiggars and grass tall enough most pigs can run through without presenting a shot.

It will be too late for either of these ranches for Jan-Mar 2016 assuming you\'re trying to get enough hunters to secure the entire place. AAU free range will drop off as grass starts greening up late Feb or early Mar and hogs have another food source.
