how about a thread started for each state ?

i think it would be awesome if someone from each state could start a thread that would give a general breakdown of good areas to draw good otc  areas. Some of these websites are confusing as hell and if you are from that state you have a better chance of tellin your stories and can give a better idea on how, when, where to apply you live there you know the ins and outs. i mean its just a thought. some are pretty basic but others are complex or over looked. opportunities for hunts that some may pass on but others would relish so whats your state start the thread if you live there pitch in.

I'm in NM and a lot of the state has good elk and quality.
Some units way better known like the Gila units are hard to draw,but some fairly easy.Gotta know how to apply is all.
I've seen 350+ bulls in unknown units.
As far as numbers, lots.
I just saw a herd of 60-80 cows,calves and small bulls 1/4 mi from my ranch and headed this way for night. I'm in a relatively unknown unit, 30mi from "the Gila".  8)
