How is the Elk Hunt?

How is the Elk hunting so far 2019 Colorado? Much bugleling yet?

I'm hunting just outside of Alamosa. Some bugling in morning not as much at night. Only 1 cow seen in 2 days so that's likely part of it.


On private land so no pressure. Depends a lot on location and elevation. I may be around 7000 ft + 15 for my stand.

Good luck, I?m counting down to rifle opening. How they are bugleling then.  Seem to me they rut a little later every year.
