How many NI folks are doing the late hunt?

How many of you North Idaho guys are doing the late rifle season? Do you ever opt to take your bow rather than a rifle?

I will be as well. All of the B taggers will be out of the woods.

I'll be headin out as well, with my .300 win mag. Although my early season areas don't typically produce many elk this late, I've noticed with the mild winters we've been having, the elk population in those areas has somewhat exploded. I've seen more elk this year than any past hunting seasons. Iam still seeing a lot of fresh elk sign down in some lower areas I hunt. That being said, I haven't heard or seen an elk since the 10th, but I have seen a lot of blaze orange.

I haven't gone out since the season closed here due to the quantity of blaze orange. I will be heading out for the rifle season as well. Do any of you guys do the Dec hunt?

Its a disease: if I have a tag I'm still goin.  Usually don't take any time off work, but get out any chance I can.
