How much are waypoints worth?

Come to think of it, the last site we came from had someone who just started doing this as well...

He was my first thought when I started reading this post.

Everything is for sale and this could help a newbie but I hate to see more commercialization of the sport. I would rather see help passed on to others like this and some other sites do.

It\'s that time of year, has anyone thought of giving a waypoint for a Christmas gift? For a measly $500, I can put one in your stocking.

I\'m not a super educated elk hunter been out there a couple time chasing elk and would love to spend more time doing it. Me personally I would pay for some waypoints just to get maybe in a decent area for elk. Like someone said that waypoint could be good one year and not so good the next. Christmas is almost here I might need to tell my wife to get on here so she can get me a good stocking stuffer. :upthumb:

I gave out a waypoint to a fresh wallow as I was leaving this year to some guys from Wisconsin. Every year I seem to pass on info to out of state turkey hunters. I\'m with Terry, seems like hunting has become too commercial. I would rather just help somebody out and know someday somebody will return the favor. At least that\'s just my opinion.

I\'ve never thought about sellin\' waypoints since I\'ll continue to use um as long as I can and the kids, grandkids, great grandkids and we could go on will use um when I gone I\'m sure... Plus I don\'t want anyone \"shootin\' my swing ducks\"...

Swede, my wife is a very understanding woman, but I might have a little trouble getting her to understand why I need to buy myself a 500.00 gift!!

Tim: If you can\'t sweet talk her into it, try to shame her. Guilt can be a powerful tool also. Just be careful as it can turn around and bite you if you are not careful.
