This forum is generating a lot of response which is great, but I find myself spending more and more time looking at various forums.  Almost as bad as my kids playing video games or texting on the phone.  How much is too much??????

I also spend way too much time on this one and several other forums but hey theres a bunch of great stuff on these things I'm addicted, what else can i say.

My wife gets upset with me because I am constantly reading forums or researching hunting trips/equipment etc... I wasn't kidding when I said I have an absolute obsession with going on an archery elk hunt.  Want to do one every year!

forums are the best way to learn.  I used to spend a lot of time on archery talk mainly reading about bowhunting til this forum got revamped.  It's like archery talk without all the archery talk...pun intended. all elk hunters which is great

Probably way more than I should but if I wasn't on here I would be watching tv or reading a book. Way more information that I am interested in in these forums.

On workdays, almost nil.  On days off, I take a look at what people are talking about, in between household tasks. I used to spend a lot more time on forums until I broke the habit (due to having NO time upon returning to school).  When people start tearing each other down, I tend to lose interest.

Elk season is closed, if not at work or at the gym, what else would I be doing. I guess I could arrange my sock drawer by color next time.  :(

On the other site that I frequent, I only check in about 2-3 days a week.  With this site at the moment if you don't check in frequently, you will miss something.  Plus this is right up my ally, ALL ELK ALL THE TIME!

way to much according to my wife but im planning my first elk hunting trip so i dont think im on here nearly enough

Sometimes I think that I need to ween myself off of hunting forums, but there is a lot of information that can be had and some good friendships too.  I have learned a lot from other hunters and I am sure I have shown others a thing or two too.

kind of like saying you spend to much time hunting. Is that really possible?brings up the age old question,(to hunt or not to hunt?) what a stupid question.
