Here in Utah, to get to the good spots, most everything is a good hike.
That in mind, I still use a 50" model RZR 800 side by side, good to lug all my gear and very nimble in tight terrain and climbs like a goat.
Alternatively, I was thinking of picking up a Yamaha TW200.  But, it needs to be able to climb some gnarly terrain.  Anyone use one before?

If hunters are allowed to get atvs into an area it is generally a good indication that I wouldn't want to hunt it.

I use my jeep. Then I use my boots. I see very little game on the atv. The animals know when hunting season is and that the sound of atvs mean danger. Any 4 x 4 will get you where you need to go. Hike the rest of the way.

possibly I wasn't descriptive enough.
In Utah, Idaho, we often will take machines in the back country to get from the truck...that can be 10-20 miles in from the parking lot and then we'll typically hike 2-6 miles each way, depending on location...So, I get foot-power, i was asking about getting up and into some of these areas, I want to look at the Yamaha TW200 or hear from someone that's used one.
