I\'ll Be Going Now

Pete,

You should follow your heart and go for it !!

One day we will be laying in bed waiting to pass on and you don\'t want your thoughts to be \" I wish I had wrote that book \" !!

It\'s the same for me with my game call business. It\'s in my heart and I knew I could build a better product for some people. Now granted not everyone will like my calls and the same will go for your book !! But in our hearts we know we really did it for ourselves anyways !!

You don\'t have to answer to me or anyone else on this forum or any other forums for that matter.

If when you are finished your book and we see you again on an elk forum then we can once again chat on !! Until then follow your heart and get it done to your satisfaction !!

Yer bud !

Travis

Thanks Travis.

I\'d rather not be laying in a death bed though. I\'d prefer to die in my mountains.

Love you man! But I\'m not a fan of the \"I\'m outta here\" threads. There is no winning:
Here what can happen:
1. You don\'t go and you\'re like the kid crying wolf.
2. You go, and you miss out on a good forum
3. You go, get lonely and come back. Well nuff said
4. Everyone tells you \"don\'t go!\" And you feel bad and good at the same time.
5. Nobody tells you, \"don\'t go\" as a matter of fact one mean person tells you, \" don\'t let the door hit you in.....\" And you feel bad.

Bottom line. If it\'s something you want to do, do it and do it well. I just don\'t think this merits radio silence so you can save all important information for the book\'s exclusivity. There is no new hunting info out there. Magazines been spewing good and bad info for decades.

Either way, good luck. I\'d love to have a topic I felt important enough to sit down and type out.
