Figure 10-15% chance for Utah, Idaho OTC. Was debating if I should do bear or not...but realized I have a 17 yr old daughter that works, school, and has a serious boyfriend so I better get her out while I can! She got her first bear three years ago and just hasn't made it out since. If I get her out one sit it will be worth it.

Have you bought your Idaho tags yet? They have been selling out early lately.

I'm a resident so have time, but still have issues getting the unit I prefer as it is capped and sells out in hours. So being a working guy depending on schedule the day they go on sale it can be a nightmare to get in line in time.

Flew from Pa to Idaho, to stand in line for 19 hours in 20deg temp in Dec . Was able to get mine and my son A tags. will be in Idaho from 9/09-9/30.

I'm still researching Colorado for archery elk. I have 3 points and have narrowed it down to 551,48 or 57/58. Just had a Tenex procedure on my elbow so I have more time to research before the deadline.

Did you have any luck? If so, which unit are you headed to? I drew 551 with 2 pts.

Looks like Colorado 1st rifle is my only elk hunt this year, but I’m elk hunting!
