Got a couple spots picked out in 681 for 1st week September, into second. Any body have any info they'd like to share? First elk hunt for me. Been doing a lot of map scouting and finding some decent meadows and good forest on north facing slopes around water. Trying to stay away from roads best I can, but seems like quite a few in the public lands. I'll be packing in camp and mobile. Going to be trying to call them in.
