Just finished up putting the last coat of polyurethane on my newest knife. Pretty happy with the way this one came out. This go round I did have access to a band sander, which helped out a ton!
I did this one a little different than my first one. Instead of getting the handles perfectly shaped before installing them, this time I got them close and glued them, then did the final sanding. Although it made it easier to get the pins aligned perfectly, I didn?t really like sanding the handles while they were on the knife because inevitably I was going to hit some of the stainless steel with the sandpaper.
Here?s a link to my first knife that I put together with a full-on write up: https://www.elk101.com/forums/index.php/topic,7531.0.html
