Ok I have a cow moose tag this year. I've been trying to ask people about the size comparison between a cow moose and a bull elk....in general. I've killed plenty of elk from cows to six points so I know the general size and how much meat I'm gonna get. When I ask people to compare it to a cow most people have said anywhere from less meat to twice as much. What are your opinions? I think a 4-6 year old cow would be similar to a 5-6 year old bull elk in field weight and in total meat.
