So I was sitting in my stand today and had a bull come by with a slight limp and a distinct tag electric taped to it's brow tine... I am completely confused and would live to hear the story behind this one

My grandpa shot a deer one year blew its horn off. He put his tag on it and it ran off, someone shot it on the other side of the ridge. When my grandpa went over he said that is my deer, my tag is on it. The guy looked and said if you are fast enough to run and put your tag on him you can have it. True story! I would have shot the bull, the hunters info should be on the tag and you could have contacted him, very cool though!
