Missed a chip shot on a fatty doe yesterday morning.
Pick-a-spot, pick-a-spot.
I picked a spot, it just happened to be about 2\" below her chest>><><
Hopefully I got all the misses out when the big boy walks by.

I always view a clean miss as a learning opportunity - what did I do wrong and how do I fix it? Keep your chin up, get back out there and put a kill shot on the next one.

That\'s what does are for, Rudy! To get you ready for the buck! I went for 20 years without shooting a doe and holding out for a certain size of buck. Sometimes I\'d go two or three years between bucks if I couldn\'t find one big enough. I found that when taking a shot at a good buck I felt very rusty if it had been a couple of years. A few years ago I started taking one doe a year and early in the season. The increase in confidence has been remarkable. You are ready now!
