No bear points showing. I got the tag.

I\'m friends with a Hunt Planner who gives me my results. I was waiting until the 10th when the elk and deer will be drawn too before calling him.

edit..Hmmm the 10th in Sat. I\'m not sure they draw on Sat, but I can\'t call him until Mon anyway.

I\'m worried about the buck tag. I have no points, so my odds are about 60%.

Unit 28, friend of mine drew last year with 4 points I had 3/6. He has drawn this area 3 times and got his cow opening day every year, I don\'t know if he drew this year. Guess if I get one I\'ll use the game tote or pack frame since I sold my last horse in April.

Here is a pic of a bull I saw 3 times in one week during 2013 in 28. He even stopped to pose for some pics a couple times. Once he was with a cow and calf.

I\'ve been applying for moose tags in Maine for years and I still probably have a few to go before I draw....

I am guessing you guys are all talking about Colorado? Wyoming?


Are the chances pretty good for a non resident to get drawn up there? How insane are the prices?

For Maine it\'s $25per draw, $25 for an extra point, and then the NR tag is about $600

Dan, I was talking about Colorado. Colorado nonresident moose tag is $2,009, resident is $254. This was my 10th year putting in for it.
