My folks grew up in the twin cities area, I was born out there but have been out here most of my life. Still have a bunch of family out there though in the Chanhassen area. Went back there last summer up to Rainy Lake to do some fishing. I have a cousin who has a place on the lake up there. I still love Minnesota, so beautiful with all of the lakes and trees and a ton to do up there, but a week or two at a time is plenty, regardless of what time of year it is

Walleye is definitely a Coloroado thing, but I\'ve heard there are some in MN as well.

Going to go jig up some this evening for the deep-fryer!

Are the walleye fairly easy to catch? I shoot them in Arkansas but after I kill my bull in the first couple o days I\'ll have a little time to try to catch some walleye Old school style.
