Moving to Flagstaff...

Looks like I may be moving to Northern AZ around May.  I just looked at some of the local rules/ regulations/ harvest info and OTC tag options on the AZ Fish and Game website... anyone from AZ have any suggestions for hunt units on elk/ mule deer?  Any help would be greatly appreciated

It really depends on the type of hunt your looking for
. units 9 and 10 are trophy units and extremely tough to draw. 6 a is managed for opportunity.  Way better draw odds, but lacks the numbers of trophy class bulls.

22n is a draw every other year rifle tag. 8m holds some solid bulls, they pulled a 380 out of it last yr, 11m,23, 4. Good luck drawing those tags. Been waiting 9 yrs for an elk tag there, and was a resident there my whole life till a yr ago. OTC archery tags are pretty good there, you'll get to hunt deer in velvet and in rut.
